You are right. This only makes web apps inferior to native apps. Any extra click required reduces install rate. I have edited after thinking that. If the same thing is possible for native app, it should be possible for web app. If we are pushing the web to compete with native, adding arbitrary requirements should not be encouraged. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
