Re: New Technique for 2.4.5, Supplementing link text with the title attribute

Hi, John,
It seems that we are interpreting the technique a bit differently.  In my 
example 1 I am using the title to provide more clarification.  Your tests, 
below assume that the title is only used when the link text is the same 
for one or more links.   This allows "click here" with a title attribute - 
is that really sufficient since it isn't well supported by AT?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Thanks for this technique.

A couple of suggestions:

1. I think the test for determining when link text has to be
supplemented would be something like:
===Procedure===
#Check for any links with identical link text (including identical alt
text for graphical links)
#For each link identified in (1), check that the value of the href
attribute is unique
#For each link with identical link text (including alt text for
graphical links) and a unique href attribute, check that a title
attribute is present and that the title attribute describes the
destination of the link
===Expected result===
(3) Is true


2. I think the example and test about the link opening in a new window
can be deleted-- these are more appropriate for GL3.2 since they're
about changes of context.

I know the test I proposed above is long and that the items are hard to
read. Hopefully someone can come up with a shorter way to say those
things!
