Thanks Thad — good idea.  I’m a regular at the New York Semantic Web Meetup (http://www.meetup.com/semweb-25/).  Although there are some very interesting events and it is well run, none are really or regularly concerned with a deep dive into Schema.

I suspect, too, that much of the expertise to address these kinds of questions can be found in this group, and is global rather than local (I need Googlers and Bingers to weigh in on some of these questions).
