The typical typicalAgeRange property comes from LRMI. Some learning resources are used by intermediaries, for example a lesson plan may be used by a teacher of 6 year-old children. The audience, i.e. the group for whom the resource was created, would be teachers, presumably adults. The intended end user would be children. I am not sure that is adequately described in the schema documentation (nor am I sure why the description for typicalAgeRange has intendedEndUser as if it were a schema.org property) Phil On 07/11/2013 12:45, Web Schemas TF Issue Tracker wrote: > webschema-ISSUE-25 (Yuliya Tikhokhod): audience and typicalAgeRange in CreativeWork [Feedback on Schema.org] > > http://www.w3.org/2011/webschema/track/issues/25 > > Raised by: Yuliya Tikhokhod > On product: Feedback on Schema.org > > Why we need property "typicalAgeRange" in schema.org/CreativeWork if we have "audience" where we can describe suggestedMaxAge and suggestedMinAge? > > > -- <http://www.icbl.hw.ac.uk/~philb/> ----- Sunday Times Scottish University of the Year 2011-2013 Top in the UK for student experience Fourth university in the UK and top in Scotland (National Student Survey 2012) We invite research leaders and ambitious early career researchers to join us in leading and driving research in key inter-disciplinary themes.
