I should add that as of today, you can already use the Vehicle Sales Ontology in combination with GoodRelations in RDFa in a way that validates with Google - as of now! Example: http://www.heppnetz.de/rdfa4google/tc4.html Result in the Rich Snippet Testing Tool: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.heppnetz.de%2Frdfa4google%2Ftc4.html&view= Volkswagen is using this in combination with their GoodRelations extensions http://purl.org/vvo/ns and http://purl.org/coo/ns Best Martin Hepp On May 22, 2012, at 6:06 PM, Martin Hepp wrote: > Once we are done with the integration of GoodRelations into schema.org, you can easily combine schema.org with http://purl.org/vso/ns, which is a fully-fledged GoodRelations extension for cars and other vehicles, as used e.g. by Volkswagen. > > > On May 22, 2012, at 4:39 PM, Richard Le Poidevin wrote: > >> Hello, >> >> Has there been any work in creating a schema for vehicles? I'm very keen to use Microdata but for something announced by Google, Bing and Yahoo (http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/introducing-schemaorg-search-engines.html) the website doesn't seem very active, or does it all happen here? >> >> Many thanks >> >> Ric Le Poidevin > > -------------------------------------------------------- > martin hepp > e-business & web science research group > universitaet der bundeswehr muenchen > > e-mail: hepp@ebusiness-unibw.org > phone: +49-(0)89-6004-4217 > fax: +49-(0)89-6004-4620 > www: http://www.unibw.de/ebusiness/ (group) > http://www.heppnetz.de/ (personal) > skype: mfhepp > twitter: mfhepp > > Check out GoodRelations for E-Commerce on the Web of Linked Data! > ================================================================= > * Project Main Page: http://purl.org/goodrelations/ > > > -------------------------------------------------------- martin hepp e-business & web science research group universitaet der bundeswehr muenchen e-mail: hepp@ebusiness-unibw.org phone: +49-(0)89-6004-4217 fax: +49-(0)89-6004-4620 www: http://www.unibw.de/ebusiness/ (group) http://www.heppnetz.de/ (personal) skype: mfhepp twitter: mfhepp Check out GoodRelations for E-Commerce on the Web of Linked Data! ================================================================= * Project Main Page: http://purl.org/goodrelations/
