Re: Public website/open source library to verify an open badges 3.0 verifiable credential

1EdTech, the publisher of the Open Badges Specification is building a
certification suite that includes some credential verification (as part of
its responsibility for verifying standards conformance of implementer
products). It should only be a matter of weeks before they have something
to test, at least for members.

If you want to perform verification yourself, you can use Verifiable
Credentials libraries, and there are also some JSON-schema files that could
go a long way to verifying correctness of content here:
https://1edtech.github.io/openbadges-specification/ob_v3p0.html#json-schema-0
.

You'd likely want to look at the AchievementCredential JSON schema here:
https://purl.imsglobal.org/spec/ob/v3p0/schema/json/ob_v3p0_achievementcredential_schema.json
