To the Working Group: Attached please find a document entitled “What Base Text to Use for the Do Not Track Compliance Specification.” For tonight, the document will speak for itself. It is available at: http://www.w3.org/2011/tracking-protection/2013-july-decision/ On Tuesday, we will circulate an agenda for the weekly call, moving on to other change proposals as posted on the web site. We will also circulate an explanatory memorandum, heavily footnoted with citations to the comments received by last Friday and to the record of the Working Group more generally. Members of the group put in a tremendous amount of work in recent weeks. The intelligence and expertise in the group are abundantly evident from the comments received. More tomorrow, but for now it’s back to completing the footnotes. Peter Prof. Peter P. Swire C.
