[ sorry for the cross-posting ] Hi Michael, Janina, All, First, a little background ... During the comment period of the September 2011 Touch Events LCWD [LC], the PFWG submitted several comments [Comments]. As a result of comment #7 [LC-7], the Web Events WG added the following non-normative note to the Touch Events Recommendation's Introduction section: [[ <http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/REC-touch-events-20131010/#introduction> The W3C's Protocols and Formats Working Group created a non-normative document that includes a mapping of hardware events (e.g. keyboard events) to touch events. For more information see Touch Events Accessibility Mapping [Mapping]. ]] Three years later ... The Web Events WG is now closed and the Touch Events Community Group [TE-CG] is discussing errata and next steps for the Touch Events standard. During these discussions (see [TE-Discuss]), CG participants noted [Mapping] is effectively empty. As such, we would like to understand PFWG's status and plans for [Mapping]. -Thanks, ArtB [LC] <http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-touch-events-20110913/> [Comments] <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webevents/2011JulSep/0091.html> [LC-7] <http://www.w3.org/2010/webevents/wiki/TouchEvents-LCWD-13-Sep-2011#LC-7> [TE-CG] <http://www.w3.org/community/touchevents/> [Mapping] <http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/wiki/Touch_Events_Accessibility_Mapping> [TE-Discuss] <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-touchevents/2014Dec/0010.html>
