I'd like to express my disagreement with the idea of holding a chair
election during the call, as only a subset of the group will be able to
participate. Typically, Community Groups select chairs without regular
elections. A separate thread dedicated to this process would allow for more
careful consideration and a period for deliberation.

Our requirements mandate a minimum of one chair, ideally two, and at most
three.

Nightpool, who is active and represents both SocialHub and Mastodon, would
be an excellent choice for chair given their significant involvement in the
current ecosystem.

As for Aaron, it's unclear about his level of activity and his willingness
to take on the role, not to mention which users he represents.

Thank you, Dmitri, for your interim assistance.

It might be beneficial to invite Ann Bassetti to consider the role; her
diverse perspective and consistent brilliance would be a great addition.

Given our group's longevity, we should approach the chair selection process
with caution, possibly appointing chairs one at a time over an extended
period.
