[hands up, attending]

Dear all, hello Johannes,
I'd like to propose a modification to the next meeting:

It will not fit within the 1 hour, the last 12 meetings were sometimes full and
1 hour was always to less, so maybe interested people can talk afterwards:

Quite a few projects in the fedi would be interested in https://sovereigntechfund.de/en funding and ask what exactly will be funded (mainly in fedi).
The answer for me is easy: The things which all of these projects will need …
The unsolved infrastructure things.

Like
• A reference implementation of a fully conformant server
see https://www.w3.org/TR/activitypub/#conformance :
“the entirety […] the entirety […] the entirety […]”
and a prototype in the 3 languages we probably use.
[make photos, not languages :)]

• The enhancement of the Client To Server specification part and Action Handlers
(would sum up the conclusions of last meetings)

• The missing validator
see https://github.com/w3c/activitypub/issues/351#issuecomment-1157272481
The original idea was to have a simple .rocks domain including subdomains for a validator and implementation reports to ensure interoperability.
For other W3C protocols it is there, e.g. https://micropub.rocks https://websub.rocks
It should be fun to test all your ActivityVocabulary and AP workflows.
When you played it through, submit an implementation report and others might see
“It's a match” …

• The next Conference

and maybe something like a prototype
• UI library
see my Talk at the Conf https://redaktor.me/ (Talks)
This can really be a good guide for the Conformance to ActivityPub where
- most things are multiple or even complex Collections
- many things are multilanguage
- can have qualified Relationship statements with license or claims Actor info
etc.

This is the also the way we work in redaktor, we team up to do a generic server and UI first and infrastructure (see below). Then we have several assignments for Clients, be it from German Taxi/Bike cooperatives or from broadcasters.
We could define milestones which are critical to infrastructure, which anyone will need and which will serve the fedi users most and in the best prosocial way.
