I was just reading over some historical OWL stuff, and I was reminded of the awkward fit between some 3-ary and 4-ary constructs in OWL, given RDF's binary limitations. I don't see discussion of constructs like onProperty/hasValue in Defining N-ary Relations on the Semantic Web: Use With Individuals http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/WD-swbp-n-aryRelations-20040721/ I think OWL follows "pattern 2"... a Restriction works sorta like a Purchase in the example. It seems worth pointing this out in the document. -- Dan Connolly, W3C http://www.w3.org/People/Connolly/ D3C2 887B 0F92 6005 C541 0875 0F91 96DE 6E52 C29E
