meeting times. Meeting times will remain as is.

ACTION: Ralph do an analysis of which WG participants have been able to
attend at which meeting time.

Proposed: Next telecon, 5 August, 1400 UTC
Seconded: Kevin
RESOLVED

Discussion turned to the next F2F meeting. David proposed that Tucana's
office in Reston, VA could be used. Deb also mentioned that Stanford
may be able to host. European members would prefer an East coast US
venue.

2. ACTION ITEM REVIEW

Action from previous telecon:

ACTION: Guus and Ralph to find a chair for 22 July
DONE

ACTION: Guus to send out message about next face to face, including
possibility of holding it at ISWC

See comments above on possible locations.

ACTION: Ralph add Tom_Adams to list
DONE

ACTION: Ralph to remind tom aldo and natasha to send public ssh2 key to
         ralph

ACTION: Guus to review aldo's wordnet proposal doc

ACTION: Guus (1) is it the right type of approach? (2) alternative
         ontoligies for units?

ACTION: Guus to add XML schema datatypes to agenda for next telecon

ACTION: Ralph move VM TF description from
<http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-swbp-wg/2004Jun/0136.html>
         into Group Web space

Earlier actions:

ACTION: aldo create introductory doc for WNET TF

ACTION: ralph CVS access for Aldo, Natasha, Tom

David suggested that it would be wise to get Tom Adams' SSH keys to aid
in drafting tutorial page.

ACTION: Tom Adams to send SSH 2 key to Ralph.

3. DIWG; URIs for units and MIME Types

DIWG is going to keep working on URIs for units and MIME types. Ralph
points to links suggesting coordination, and asks how much can the
SWBP&D WG provide?

ACTION: Deb to provide a link to the ontolingua units and measures
ontology by tom gruber.

Alan suggested a good SI Web site with units, etc. Other were suggested
including:

http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/
http://sweet.jpl.nasa.gov/ontology/units.owl
http://www.scadaonweb.com/publications/ontologies_v2/
ontologies_list.html
http://www.scadaonweb.com/publications/ontologies_v2/siUnitOntology.owl
http://www.scadaonweb.com/publications/ontologies_v2/
quantityOntology.owl

ACTION: David Wood, get back to Rhys Lewis that SWBP&D WG has interest
and will get back to him when we know more.

4. Publications

David & Ralph congratulated contributors to working drafts.

David highlighted the use of W3C terms including "Working Draft" and
"Technical Report". Ralph suggested that this was a bit of a grey area
and mentioned that URIs starting with http://www.w3.org/TR are expected
to be Tech Reports, those that appear in WG area are essentially camera
ready. He followed with a comment that we need to be careful to call
documents in WG area editor drafts. Ralph is happy to assist editors in
this process.

Brian asked about how much publicity has been given to the current
drafts and have comments been solicited? Ralph responded that news
items appeared on the W3C's homepage for them. He went on to propose
that editors be responsible for publicizing their drafts. The
discussion turned to what lists were appropriate for making
announcements. Brian proposed that we allow 24 hours for comments, then
collate.

ACTION: Natasha to send note to SW interest group.

5. TUTORIAL PAGE

Tom A discussed the current work to date on the tutorial page, and
solicited comments from the WG. A temporary page exists at:

http://www.adams.id.au/tmp/semwebtutorial.html

Tom outlined that he had created a rough outline, and would like to
invite comments on the page from the WG and general public but wasn't
sure of the protocol. Discussion continued how this might be achieved
and several lists were suggested. Consensus was that Tom should be
mailed directly, with a CC to www-archive@w3.org for archival purposes.
Tom agreed to keep working on the page.

ACTION: Tom Adams to work on tutorial page.

David suggested that the page could grow to include TF actions that are
related to tutorials. Ben suggested that Tom include RDF in XHTML in
the tutorials.

6. TF UPDATES

6.1 OEP (Deb)

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-swbp-wg/2004Jul/0093.html
oep summary link

Proposal from Tom Baker to consider a draft on ontology mapping

Guus's note on qualified cardinality restrictions:

6.2 PORT (DanBri)

Alistair's proposal:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-swbp-wg/2004Jul/0068.html

Proposed: Dan proposes that we adopt Alistair's plan.
Seconded: Evan
RESOLVED

Proposed: Dan proposed to use the public-esw mailing list and report
back to WG periodically
Seconded: Evan
RESOLVED

6.3 WordNet (Aldo)

WordNet TF did have a telecon, noted need to address i18n, stable
identifiers for word senses, versioning. Underlying RDF structures laid
out. Looking to publish a note, may not be in Summer, late Autumn (Nth
Hemisphere). The I18N message will not receive a reply, has timed out.

Dan suggested that anyone tracking the wordnet issue may want to track
the wordnet mailing list.

ACTION: Brian & Jeremy to join wordnet mailing list.

6.4 XML Schema datatypes (Jeremey)

Dan noted that the mapping at http://xmlns.com/wordnet/1.6/ is used,
although he wasn't happy with it. Jeremy attended the XML schema call,
wanted them to join in TF.

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-swbp-wg/2004Jul/0063.html
[XSCH] report on telecon [Jeremy, 2004-07-20]

User defined datatypes wanted TF to look at SCD (schema component
designators). On value space comparisons - what TF was asking
overlapped with Xquery & XSL 2, felt it was important to ask someone
from that area to participate in TF, and asked TF to review work before
proceeding.

ACTION: Jeremy to review XSD FNO and SCD documents.

Jeremy commented that he would like other WG members to also review FNO
and SCD documents.

ACTION: Jeremy to add XSD FNO and SCD documents to TF reference list.

David made a comment about the DAWG XQuery discussions. Jeremy
commented that the TF may need to align with the DAWG.

ACTION: Jeremy to check semantics on DAWG use of XSD in abstract query
model.

6.5 Vocabulary management (TomB)

Dan commented that the VM TF is still new, just getting going.

6.6 HTML (Ben)

Ben apologised for the lead time in getting the RDF-in-HTML TF going,
and is working on scheduling first call. He asked for interested
members. Several WG members registered interest.

Comments were made on:

http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/2004/02/xhtml-rdf.html

Ben commented that Mark's proposal and other points from another
proposal will be used. Doesn't want to bias discussion. HTML WG is
looking towards Mark's proposal.

David commented on his idea to approach the IETF on adding metatdata as
HTTP headers.

ACTION: Ben to solicit interested members in RDF in XHTML TF.
