Hi all, Can I just nudge those involved in the THES TF to make some noises about this plan? Al. -----Original Message----- From: public-swbp-wg-request@w3.org [mailto:public-swbp-wg-request@w3.org]On Behalf Of Miles, AJ (Alistair) Sent: 09 July 2004 17:23 To: 'public-swbp-wg@w3.org' Subject: [PORT/THES] Concrete actions Hi all, I would like to propose the following activities and timeline for the THES TF: 1. Engage in a round of development of the SKOS-Core RDF schema [1], in collaboration with SWIG and current SKOS community, with a deadline of end september to freeze further developments. 2. Publish a 'SKOS-Core Vocabulary Specification' as a first working draft by the end of October. 3. Publish an entry-level note 'Quick Guide to Using SKOS-Core for Thesauri' by end November. Why not publish something right away? Lot's of good suggestions for improvements and additions to SKOS-Core have come up recently, especially since the publication of the SKOS-Core 1.0 Guide [2] in March of this year. I suggest we take this opportunity to make some improvements, and look to publish after a 2-3 month development iteration. Any objections to this plan? Yours, Alistair.
