In https://w3c.github.io/svgwg/svg2-draft/coords.html#BoundingBoxes > An element with no position specified (such as a ‘[path](https://w3c.github.io/svgwg/svg2-draft/paths.html#PathElement)’ element with a value of none for the [d](https://w3c.github.io/svgwg/svg2-draft/paths.html#DProperty) property) is positioned at the point (0,0) for the purposes of calculating a bounding box.
