Hi, and nice to e-meet you all, I work as YAR (yet another researcher) at the University of Manchester, School of Computer Science. My interest in semantic modelling is recent, having previously worked in SW engineering and data management in various capacities and industry sectors. The project I am involved in is about providing a formal description of Information Quality (IQ) concepts in the context of life sciences, with specific focus on the quality characterization of some -omics data (transcriptomics, proteomics). Over the last year we have been developing a semantic model for describing IQ in these data domains, and a service architecture for providing a "quality view" of the data, using semantic quality annotations that are grounded in the model.
