Hi, My name is Michal Galdzicki and I am a research technologist at the Children's Hospital Informatics Program in Boston. I work on a integrative genomics project in Autism. I have been interested in application of the Semantic Web in bioinformatics since my undergraduate studies at the Univ. of Maryland, College Park. Since then I have done several projects involving building ontologies and developing query systems for ontology knowledge bases. I have a Masters degree in Bioinformatics from Boston University where I was able to further my expertise in applying ontologies to biological systems. I listen in on this list to keep up with the latest information on semantic web issues, and hope to use tools, ontologies and semantically annotated data in the future. As we develop our data analysis pipeline and integration resources I would be very interested to bring in data from semantic web sources. It's snowing today in Boston, a great day. Enjoy your weekend, -michal
