Retrospective September focus week

Hi all,

First, let me propose to use the week starting October 1st as our next focus week (I haven't checked this date yet with my co-chair Jeremy so it's provisional as of yet). This is three weeks before our next face to face meeting, at TPAC in Lyon!

Here's a recap of what happened last week during our focus week. Not that much - maybe we were all still catching up after our summer holiday?

- Regarding the two existing proposals for new work, no new comments were received since August 9
- I made a few updates to the Geospatial Web roadmap, including addressing a PR by Peter Rushforth
- The list of OGC standards that are "not yet Web-friendly enough" is considered stable; no new comments were received. It's going to the OGC Architecture Board soon (@Scott, should that go through you - or who do we send that to?)
- MapML: See update: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-sdwig/2018Sep/0004.html
- Stats on the Web: Bill Roberts let me know he'll be cracking down and doing some work before our next face to face, at TPAC.
- SSN: no update.
- WebVMT: Rob Smith presented the WebVMT idea at the OGC meeting this morning in the Defence & Intelligence DWG. I understand it was well received and he was invited to present the same in another sub meeting this afternoon.
- CovJSON: no update.
- CityJSON: no update
- Spatial data on the web best practice: Michael asked for review of the implementation reports; I did not see any comments. Work on a third implementation report is underway.
- OGC technology trends: "Spatial Data on Web" meta-trend has been updated based on the discussion in the telecon on August 14th. See https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-sdwig/2018Sep/0001.html
