Thanks a lot, Frans. A couple of suggested edits (which I can take care of): 1. About section "WGS84" - quoting: [[ WGS84, a CRS for latitude-longitude coordinates, is very popular on the web. This has lead to the idea that this CRS can be considered a default CRS. In fact, many specifications have done so (basic geo, GeoJSON, geosparql). ]] As you also say later in the wiki page, GeoJSON is not using lat-long as the axis order, and GeoSPARQL is using CRS84. Instead, I would add schema.org as one of the specification using WGS84 as default CRS. 2. The LOCADD wiki [1] may provide some useful material. E.g., - other CRS registers, as http://spatialreference.org/ and http://epsg.io/ - URLs operated by the OGC register for compound reference systems - as http://www.opengis.net/def/crs-compound?1=http://www.opengis.net/def/crs/EPSG/0/4269&2=http://www.opengis.net/def/crs/EPSG/0/5713 My two cents Andrea ---- [1]https://www.w3.org/community/locadd/wiki On Thu, Oct 22, 2015 at 3:43 PM, Frans Knibbe <frans.knibbe@geodan.nl> wrote: > Hello all, > > In order to complete ACTION-82 I have made a start with a new wiki page that > is about coordinate reference systems: > https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Coordinate_Reference_Systems.
