Dear Lars, >> Please, note that we have already a vocabulary for describing CRSs, >> based on ISO 19111. It is available at http://data.ign.fr/def/ignf and >> see >> http://vowl.visualdataweb.org/webvowl/#iri=http://data.ign.fr/def/ignf >> to see the description of the vocab in your favorite language. > > Do you think it would be possible to develop a XSL transformation to convert CRSs described in OGC-XML to RDF? Do you have examples of CRSs described in OGC-XML that I could look at? Is it important for you that this transformation be described in XSL or could you live with any implementation of such a mapping (assuming one could find a deterministic mapping between those 2 representations)? > And an aside: It's funny to see that even if the CRS vocabulary [1] mainly uses French for comments/definitions etc., the local part of the IRIs are all in English. I wonder when someone dares to supply those parts in another language. So far, I think we have put all labels in both @en and @fr at http://data.ign.fr/def/ignf.rdf but indeed the comments are just in @fr. It is our goal to provide a truly multilingual ontology but of course, any help is welcome to localize the ontology! Best regards.
