RE: Silver feedback request—core survey questions

To David

Looks good! To throw my two cents in:

* Employment status: I'd recommend having 'casual/consultant' as a lot of people that work in accessibity aren't necessarily full-time or part-time
* How do you learn or keep up with accessibility topics?: I'd add 'formalised training' and 'newsletters/mailing lists' to the list of options
* Additional section: I'd like to see each of the 12 WCAG 2.0 guidelines based on WCAG 2.0 At A Glance ' asking how hard it is to do each of the 12 guidelines. In my experience some guidelines are seen as easy while others are seen as hard, especially captioning and audio description, so it'd be good to get a sense of which guidelines are seen to be challenging. May also be worth asking a related question as to which of the 12 guidelines take the most time to implement to get a sense of the 'quick wins' and the ones that people are likely to shy away from implementing.

Scott.

Subject: Silver feedback request—core survey questions

Hi all

The Silver TF has been working on producing and revising a set of core survey questions for inclusion in Silver stakeholder surveys, and would like RQTF members to have the opportunity to provide some feedback.

These would be questions asked of all stakeholder groups who use accessibility guidelines as part of their work. The Silver TF may adapt them for surveys of people with disabilities who use the web—a separate though overlapping population.

The draft questions are at:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vDzSCO-mEnPB7jaAzIhOOLf92b0pCuzzR8u_GSWTw_M/edit

The intention is to have them finalised by Friday 9th, so if anyone in RQTF had any comments, please share them by reply by Wednesday 7th. (apologies for the short notice!)

Thanks!
Dave (on behalf of the Silver TF)
