Dear all, Here are our proposed objectives and draft agenda for the F2F3, 8 and 9 june, in Budva, Montenegro. - Objectives * RIFRAF sufficient to assess requirements (for completeness, relevance etc); * End of June release of 2nd WD of UC&R, including requirements; * End of June editors' draft of Technical Spec - Overall agenda - Thursday 8 and Friday 9 June 2006, 8am to 6pm * RIFRAF o Review classification of current rule systems o Finalize RIFRAF * Use Cases o Review and finalize existing and new use cases for UC&R 2nd WD * Requirements o Review and finalize GCR hierarchy * Plan for release of 2nd WD of UC&R o Review and agree on content structure, etc o Retroplan for release end of June * Technical Spec o Rewiew/discuss mappings onto/from Harold et al. proposal o Discuss/agree approach to phase 1 technical spec o Identify outstanding issues (and progress on some) * AOB o Test cases o Next F2F meetings With the objective of an editors' draft by the end of June and the release of a 1st WD early this autumn as a target, our expectation for F2F3 is that the group should be able to agree easily on a single semantics for phase 1 rules, and that the discussion will focus mostly on engineering questions. Remember that the technical specification for the phase 1 will lay the foundation for RIF and that, in order to be able to focus on the basic issues (architecture, core meta-model, syntax, extensibility and compliance, compatibility with other standards/format, etc), the charter allow us to restrict the expressiveness of the format at our convenience, down to Horn rules. The detailled agenda will be finalised shortly: we welcome your comments. CC&S
