Hi all, Here is quick summary of what we discussed on Wednesday. We mostly discussed the new features and changes we would like to add to the reconciliation API. - Adding support for type filtering in the entity suggest API (https://github.com/reconciliation-api/specs/issues/29). I wrongly claimed that this was already supported: it is type filtering in the property suggest that is supported in OpenRefine. - As a service provider it would be nice to have more feedback about the API usage. Currently there is no way for a service to be informed of which candidate the user picked. Such data could potentially be used in machine learning scenarios. The API could provide an endpoint for a client to send their chosen matches for a query. This could then be used to tune weights server-side. Because such user input might not always be reliable this would probably rely on the authentication support we want to build in the API anyway. https://github.com/reconciliation-api/specs/issues/30 - We would like to give users more control over candidate scoring. There are many ways to do this, so we need to flesh out a few proposals to agree on how to do this, I have started to flesh out a few ideas in the corresponding github issue: https://github.com/reconciliation-api/specs/issues/31 - We discussed the issue that reconciliation queries are submitted as URL-encoded JSON payloads, which hinders integrations in OpenAPI-based frameworks among others (and isn't very natural in REST APIs). https://github.com/reconciliation-api/specs/issues/32 Juliane, Jeff, David, Thad and myself attended. Feel free to correct me if I missed important things! If anyone feels like proposing pull requests to fix these issues in the specs, just go ahead!
