Question on RDF standardisation and large language models

Hi all,

more and more knowledge graph data base vendors introduce features related to large language models, e.g. functions to call LLMs, to integrate SPARQL queries with vector data bases and calculations e.g. to vector similarity.

Many of these activities that I have seen are in property graph-based knowledge graph data bases.
Here is an RDF data base going into this direction:
https://franz.com/agraph/support/documentation/8.0.0/llm-examples.html

My question to the co-chairs and to Pierre-Antoine is: would taking up such a topic require

  1. No changes to the charter
  2. Re-charting
  3. A new working group, to start after we are finished, i.e. after August 2024 the earliest.

My perception is that speed of property graph vendors in this area is high. If only c) is possible, any chances of uptake in the RDF world may be small.

Best,

Felix
