There have been recent changes to SHACL as defined in the editors' draft of "Shapes Constraint Language (SHACL)" that do not show up in the revision history section of the document. For example, there was a recent change in the document to what makes a shape in SHACL. This change is not mentioned in the revision history at all. Further, the git commit message labels the change as a clarification, which it is not. Other changes to the document are inadequately described in the revision history section. For example, the addition of normative force for w3c.github.io/data-shapes/shacl/shacl.ttl is simply labelled as adding a link, with no indication that this could have made wide-reaching changes to SHACL. The git commit message is no more informative. Peter F. Patel-Schneider Nuance Communications
