It seems like it could be made simpler: select fields, then re-output the HTML+RDFa that folks can just copy and paste into their sites. No PHP, just static stuff. *That* would be super useful, and there's no need to serve different markup for humans and machines. In fact, you *want* to serve RDFa to humans, so their browsers can help you make the correspondence between what you see on the screen and the data. Are you working with Dapper on this?
