Yes. SPARQL requires support for the XSD cases of numbers, dateTimes, strings and boolean. XSD F&O provides a large body of work to reuse. By popular demand, ARQ adds xsd:time, Gregorian dates, and xsd durations (much of the real work and details like parsing and range checking is actually done by Xerces/J). And Roman numerals for testing the extension mechanisms. Andy
