Tim,

You asked me in today's teleconference if the updated cross-reference was 
clearer in its cross-linking.  I'm afraid my answer is "no".  Changing the 
heading to "alternate" doesn't really help and, if anything, is even more confusing.

So, instead of:

What *would* make more sense to me would be:
