The proposal from Microsoft/Google was adopted as the base spec for the Web Payments WG work. This repo should be preserved for historical purposes (as we still point to it from time to time to demonstrate alternatives).

So, whatever you need to do to mark this repo as "historical / do not delete" would be fine. :)
