The candidate is expected to develop new formalisms, tools and methods to manage and publish datasets as Linked Open Data. The focus of the Semantic Computing Group will be on developing novel approaches for indexing RDF datasets according to linguistic principles as a basis to develop novel and advanced NLP services that support querying and accessing data that is published on the Web following Semantic Web standards. As a specific objective the group intends to develop new tools for the generation and publication of grammars-as-a-service (GAAS) which can support the configuration, virtualization and deployment of Question Answering Systems over RDF data.
