We tried that before by defining price to be an Asset (and the target of a pay action)
Hence you could use anything for the Asset (eg some UBL or Good Relations etc)
But we have now gone back to a constraint of the compensate action (for simplicity).

Did you want more expressive compensation terms and/or a “standard” to follow?

We purposely say little about the asset (except for its uid) so that communities can use any asset descriptive terms/model they like.
We once supported the IFLA model, but nobody used it.

Proposals welcome ;-)

Could this be expressed as a “media” constraint (ie: not-equal to “merchandise”) ?

Possibly, alternatively the publisher can only make that resolution available to the consumer. (or use PLUS semantics)

Could we use the “deliveryChannel” constraint to differentiate the various modes to access the video?
Ie $2 for “streaming” and $10 for “download”….

A new constraint?
