An old use case (revisited)

Hello,

I pose quite a rethorical question.

As an exercise, I have checked an old use case, posted in the wiki here:
https://www.w3.org/community/odrl/wiki/Publishing_Embedded_and_Royalty_Free_%28RF%29_Assets
and whose description is reproduced and commented below. My comments are:
- the payment specification needs a vocabulary and it is transversal to
every domain. Even the one provided by schema.org
(http://schema.org/PriceSpecification) does not suffice.
- a more complex model on the asset (thumbnail, full resolution, demo
version, etc.) is also transversal to many domains.

In the context of the W3C LD4LT group we have found some other generic
needs when using ODRL to license linked data language resources.
How an ODRL user is expected to overcome these problems?

*2) Royalty-Free (RF) license for Commercial Uses of Media Assets*

For commercial uses of the Media Assets, Audubon would like to offer
Royalty Free (RF) reproduction rights. Potential customers may
identify Audubon by his watermark, unique identifier. and/or
clicking on the embedded Media Assets where Audubon’s Terms of
Service are expressed. If a user wishes to buy a non-watermarked RF
license to reproduce one of his photographs or videos for commercial
purposes such as advertising, promotions or merchandising, Audubon
will provide a non-watermarked media asset for download upon
acceptance of his Terms of Service and payment.

      * Client Copyright Notice or Creator Attribution required.-->
        odrl:attribute and cc:Notice should suffice
      * File size 1600 x 1200 pixels under standard RF terms. For larger
file sizes or additional licenses contact Audubon direct. --> a
more refined model for the asset is needed
      * Licensee to pay Licensor US$100 per photographic media asset -->
        odrl:compensate
      * Video: Play on Pay per click (CPM) under Streaming Model -->
        extensions are needed.
