We have in the current draft tool specific mappings for quality type. These might become more, e.g. for disambiguation, see
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Sep/0027.html

The list of relevant tools can be found here:

I can forward ask my colleague Ali Khalili (who implemented
http://rdface.aksw.org/lite/test/tinymce/examples/rdface_lite.html ) to
check whether Spotlight, OpenCalais, Alchemy, Extractiv, Evri, Saplo and
Lupedia can produce this information and whether they produce something
else that might be important.

I think it makes sense to not freeze such mappings in the specification itself. The mappings will need to be updated from time to time. I suggest to leave maintenance of the mapping to the "Internationalization Tag Set Interest Group"
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-i18n-its-ig/
This is basically a mailing list that serves as a community for the ITS specs - once they are done. It will stay alive after the end of the MLW-LT.

Proposed changes to the spec:
- Move the current appendix "Sample Mappings of Quality Assurance Tool Issues to locQualityIssueType" to a to-be-defined place (suggestions welcome)
- Mention above maintenance plan in the spec
- Describe a simple process for the maintenance of the mappings. E.g. write in the ITS 2.0 spec: "update request to the ITS IG ML, if there is no disagreement, update of the mappings with link to request within a week".
- Do that for now for the QA mappings, later for the disambiguation values (if needed).
