Developers will expect to simply pass a list of constraints. But if we let them do that, their apps will break when we introduce mandatory constraints. A list of constraints is fine. No one says you have to use the same function name in version 2.0 if you need to introduce mandatory constraints (which I still argue you will never need). Gili
