Much as it goes against my grain, the W3C rule is American English, and that is what I use. Un/fortunately my spelling checker is set to UK English so I sometimes miss wrong use. Just drop me a line with errors (serialization now fixed), and I'll fix. Thanks! Steven On Tuesday 22 February 2022 18:13:25 (+01:00), Bethan Tovey-Walsh wrote: Hi, everyone! A minor detail, but one that I think is necessary for tidying up the spec: could we agree which variety of English we want to use? We currently have a mix of British and U.S. conventions* (see, e.g., “serialization”/“serialisation”). I’m happy to do the job of tidying the spelling up according to our preferred convention, once we agree on one. If nobody has any strong feelings, I’ll just go with my own preference. Please let me know how you feel, so that I can see which way the wind is blowing and whether it’s a mild breeze or a gale! Thanks, BTW *I use these labels for convenience only. ___________________________________________________ Dr. Bethan Tovey-Walsh Myfyrwraig PhD | PhD Student CorCenCC Prifysgol Abertawe | Swansea University Croeso i chi ysgrifennu ataf yn y Gymraeg.
