XHTML PER and language tags

Chaps,

I was given an action to contact the XHTML folks who are wanting to publish XHTML™ Modularization 1.1 - Second Edition to comment on the fact that they still reference RFC 3066.

So I will recommend that they replace 

[RFC3066]
    "Tags for the Identification of Languages", RFC 3066, H. Alvestrand, January 2001.
    Available at: http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3066.txt

with

[BCP47]
    Tags for Identifying Languages, A. Phillips and M. Davis, Editors, September 2006. 
    Available at http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/bcp/bcp47.txt

Looks ok ?


Also, if anyone has any ideas about how we can futher raise the visibility of the fact that RFC4646 and previous are now obsoleted, please let me know.  I'm surprised that this wasn't picked up by the XHTML folks !
