Since you have clearly stated that you refuse to revert the change caused by revision 1.4525 as requested by the WG Chairs, the Chairs have caused this revert to happen. The CVS log for change 1.4528 to the Editor' draft that undoes the change caused by 1.4525 can be seen at: http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/html5/spec/Overview.html?rev=1.4528&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup The diff markup with the previous version of the Editor's draft can be seen at: http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/html5/spec/Overview.html.diff?r1=1.4527&r2=1.4528&f=h The Editor's Draft is being rebuilt and subject to delays in populating the W3C mirrored sites the modified Editor's Draft will appear as usual at: http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html /paulc Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 -----Original Message----- From: Ian Hickson [mailto:ian@hixie.ch] Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2010 12:41 PM To: Paul Cotton Cc: HTML WG; Sam Ruby; Maciej Stachowiak (mjs@apple.com) Subject: RE: Request to Revert revision 1.4525 On Thu, 28 Oct 2010, Paul Cotton wrote: > > > > Holy overreaction, batman. I honestly feel that that would be irresponsible. It's bad enough that we have out of date drafts on the TR/ page; having out of date drafts on dev.w3.org without warning is even worse. > If this is not done by the end of the WG's Weekly teleconference this > morning then the Chairs will cause this revert to occur without your > assistance. I wouldn't have time to do it by then even if I wanted to. Furthermore, I find it ludicrous that you would make such demands. These requests are making me seriously reconsider how I provide editor's drafts to the working group. -- Ian Hickson U+1047E )\._.,--....,'``. fL http://ln.hixie.ch/ U+263A /, _.. \ _\ ;`._ ,.
