Well, that lack doesn't cause interop problems for other UAs... nor so much for content people. It just makes XHTML unusable. Actual interop issues are a bigger concern for me as a UA developer, since they actively hurt my users. That's not to say that we don't think the lack should be fixed, just that we're picking and choosing our battles. -Boris
