I haven't yet worked out why that limitation exists, however. I looked at this a while ago, and could see no reason why they weren't using @role in their script. I can only think it was because they wanted the HTML to validate, which is fair enough, but now that Shane McCarron has created an HTML DTD for this that looks set to work with the W3C validator, I don't see any problem now.
