I've started RationalesGathering [1]. Websites which carry rationales about HTML5's design should be added there. I've started by collecting links from the "Neutrality in 'HTML 5 differences from HTML 5'" thread [2]. I almost certainly won't be maintaining this page. It's to give Participants interested in the rationales a starting point to collect them. Specific rationales go in the corresponding HTML page [3]. There are already template pages set up for loads of them thanks to Gregory Rosmaita and Laura Carlson (current King and Queen of the wiki, respectively, imho). Don't put specific rationales in the RationalesGathering page, please. I found the HelpForBeginners page [4] and those linked from it really helpful. You can't use your HTMLWG account there; you have to create a new one by logging in. Please remember that all Participants (including me, obviously) should do productive work if we want to influence the spec [5]. HTMLWG isn't about writing nasty e-mails to each other: it's about specifying the next version of HTML [6]. :-) [1] <http://esw.w3.org/topic/HTML/RationalesGathering> [2] <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2007Jul/thread.html#msg55> [3] <http://esw.w3.org/topic/HTML/TableOfContents> [4] <http://esw.w3.org/topic/HelpForBeginners> [5] <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2007Jun/thread.html#msg863> [6] <http://www.w3.org/2007/03/HTML-WG-charter.html#deliverables> -- Ben 'Cerbera' Millard Collections of Interesting Tables <http://sitesurgeon.co.uk/!dev/tables/>
