ISSUE-123 (autofocus): Autofocus attribute security concerns [HTML 5 spec]

Raised by: Shelley Powers
On product: HTML 5 spec

Security issues were reported against the HTML5 autofocus attribute, whereupon it was revised to address the specific issues raised. Some feel this does not go far enough, and the autofocus attribute should be removed entirely.

The scope of this issue is the autofocus attribute and potential remedies for its problems, security and otherwise, including keeping as-is, revision, or removal.
