ddorwin has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/encrypted-media: == Revisit the steps where consent for distinctiveIdentifier is required == In step 3 of https://w3c.github.io/encrypted-media/#get-consent-status, there are conditions that cause consent to be _required_. Given changes to the definition of Distinctive Identifier (#117), it's possible that some or all are always true, making this redundant and/or insufficient.
