There will be a meeting to discuss this. Technically this is webapps not HTML, so if you're interested but not part of webapps you might have to sign up to that group.

There is a lively discussion at https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2015AprJun/0515.html about the "is" atttribute, whether it really supports accessibility, whether it is the best approach available, what will happen in browsers, etc.

This topic is also on the agenda for our own face to face a couple of weeks earlier...

There are of course other topics that will get space during that day.

Hello,

this is a preliminary announcement.

There will be a meeting hosted in the "Bay Area" of California (i.e. between San Francisco and San Jose, roughly speaking), focusing on Custom Elements.

A meeting registration page will be available soon, and will be announced.

We will try to provide an accessible working setup for remote participation. We will take minutes in webapps' IRC channel irc://irc.w3.org/#webapps in the usual way.
