Colleagues: This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the HTML-A11Y Task Force to amend our Consensus Procedures to allow Calls for Consensus (CfCs) to run concurrently in the Task Force, the HTML-WG, and the PF-WG. Our current Consensus Procedures are available at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/consensus-procedures Proposed Change Add the following item to the enumerated steps of Task Force decision procedures: "5.) Whenever the Task Force Co-Facilitators believe a Task Force consensus is clearly evident or noncontroversial, they may request that the HTML and PF chairs conduct their working group Calls for Consensus concurrently with the Task Force's CfC." This CfC is the result of the proposal thread beginning at: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2015Mar/0015.html It has become known also by the term "the CfC on CfCs." ACTION TO TAKE According to agreed Procedures, this CfC is now open for objection, comment, as well as statements of support via email. Silence will be interpreted as support, though messages of support are certainly welcome. If you object to this proposed action, or have comments concerning this proposal, please respond by replying on list to this message no later than 23:59 (Midnight) Boston Time on Sunday 22 March.
