Hi Renato, Given that the ORG Last Call period is long closed (2 days until CR vote) and the working group is very nearly at the end of it's life then our options here are limited. Currently the reference to VCard in the editor's draft [1] is for org:siteAddress which no longer has a formal range restriction but states: "Use of a well known address encoding such as the vCard [VCARD] vocabulary is encouraged ... " Given that that refers to the Ontology as whole, not the vCard class, and is just an "encouragement" then that would seem to give implementers the freedom to move to using the new vCard ontology as appropriate. Is that acceptable to you? Cheers, Dave [1] https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/gld/raw-file/default/org/index.html#org:siteAddress On 07/05/13 03:37, Renato Iannella wrote: > > With the release of the updated vCard Ontology [1], the ORG Ontology may > with to revise its use of vcard:vCard (now deprecated) and also consider > reusing additional concepts from vCard related to Organisations and > structure, locations, and Individuals. > > Cheers... > Renato Iannella > Semantic Identity > http://semanticidentity.com > Mobile: +61 4 1313 2206 > > [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-vcard-rdf-20130502/
