As Bernadette has asked me to chair today I will do so but am mindful of keeping to the remit, so no strategic decisions today in the absence of the actual chairs! My slight revision to this agenda for today is: 1. ORG - ready for LC? 2. DCAT - How close to review for LC are we now? Issue bashing until 20 mins from the end of the meeting 3. Feedback from my (very positive) meeting with the European Commission yesterday 4. ADMS - steps to get this to FPWD 5. November Google+ hangout -------- Original Message -------- Subject: W3C GLD WG Thur 11-Oct-2012 15:00-16:00 UTC (10:00-11:00 Boston, 7:00-8:00 San Francisco, 15:00-16:00 London, 16:00-17:00 Paris) Resent-Date: Thu, 11 Oct 2012 02:15:23 +0000 Resent-From: public-gld-wg@w3.org Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2012 22:15:04 -0400 From: Bernadette Hyland <bhyland@3roundstones.com> To: Government Linked Data Working Group <public-gld-wg@w3.org> CC: raf.buyle@v-ict-or.be, jirka@kosek.cz, Agis Papantoniou <apapant@medialab.ntua.gr>, Boris Villazon <boris.villazon@terrazas.name>, James McKinney <james@opennorth.ca> Greetings GLD'ers, We’ll have a 60 minute GLD-WG telecon this Thursday 11-Oct-2012 15:00-16:00 UTC (10:00-11:00 Boston, 7:00-8:00 San Francisco, 15:00-16:00 London, 16:00-17:00 Paris). Welcome to the new GLD WG members that have recently joined. Please introduce yourself on Thursday's call. The call in info & agenda is published here [2]. This week’s agenda will maintain the momentum of past weeks, with a review of next steps for two ISA Programme vocabs, specifically "ADMS" and "Legal Entity" (previously called "Business"). We'll get any Org and DCAT issue/action status updates & review any wiki page updates needed, and plan date for Google+ hangout to get some deliverables advanced during November. NB: Phil has updated the ADMS spec doc in hopes that the GLD WG can review & move it to FPWD in October. Changes: - lists Gofran as an editor (thanks!) - includes the new-look conformance section, essentially the test Dave used for ORG but s/ORG/ADMS/ See http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/gld/raw-file/default/adms/index.html Chair: Bernadette Scribe: Please volunteer Alternate: TBD Regrets: George Thomas (travel), Richard Cyganiak (at risk due to travel), Boris Villazon-Terrazas (moving to other office), Jindřich Mynarz (travel) Housekeeping/Admin: * Please familiarize yourself with the Scribe pre & post meeting checklist if you are Scribe, see also "Scribe 101" [3]. * We really need to update the Scribes [4] page.
