So what do you think that vote actually means because there is only a definition of "data profile" - not "profile" . Poor choice of wording and poor process for something outside the scope of writing specifications themselves isnt a good reason to force a inconsistent and incoherent position into the specs at this late stage. Conneg can use the agreed definiton for "data profile" as as the definition for "data profile" which is the only valid way to interpret the poorly worded poll. It can do this whilst preserving a general concept of profile consistent with the broader use of the term in the real world and the actual requirements which are to to specify functional behaviours w.r.t. to use of data profiles.
