this may be a major showstopper for DCAT if @kcoyle's interpretation is correct - its at odds with the way this could be interpreted: "An established standard to which the described resource conforms." each of the DCAT properties tends to describe whether it relates to the dcat class instance or the described resource - and its a mix. this appears to be requirement that hasnt been articulated fully - the ability to identify the DCAT profile in use - and concur that its an important one.
