Dear all, A long due action [1]... Here's a document I've created to reflect the possible (mis)alignments between the two main conceptual diagrams discussed last year: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uUl8ztXMctnsYTkTH_jV1bA27kqezdHtFRYva18Wsy0/ The overal alignment is quite good in fact. But the devil lies in the detail, and the alignment needs to be discussed for some details. These happen to be on the constructs that have already been flagged as points of improvement for PROF, so I believe spending time on this would help. It seems that we have 3 issues that are key for making decisions: - https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/573 - Rename Resource Descriptor class - https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/529 - FPWD comment: use dcat:Distribution for Resource and to a much lesser extent I believe, https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/507 - What does prof:profileOf entail? I've tried to sum up what I could understand from them - and express my own views. I hope this helps, Antoine [1] https://www.w3.org/2017/dxwg/track/actions/244
