Dear DWBP WG members, I would like to point to a specification of possible interest to the WG, released yesterday for public review: https://groups.google.com/a/datacite.org/forum/#!forum/dc2map This work is related to an RDF-based representation of DataCite metadata, and a Dublin Core AP for DataCite. I've not studied it thoroughly, but just at a quick look I identified a few issues that may be relevant to the DWBP BPs. I outline below just two of them: - The RDF profile re-uses quite a few existing vocabularies (e.g., DCTerms/Type, FOAF, CITO, FABIO, FRBR), in addition to defining a new one for some DataCite terms. Strangely, DCAT is not used at all. - The supported identifiers (ORCIDs, ISNIs, DOIs, ARKs, etc.) are not mapped, when possible, to HTTP URIs.
