Draft BP Provenance intro section complete

All,

I completed a draft of the provenance intro section and checked it in
(Newton did I check in my changes correctly?).  I'll work on the BP-16
section next, I didn't notice any other provenance contributors.  If you
would like to work on the provenance section let me know.
